The Ministry of Education has released the academic calendar for 2025.
It contains term dates, half term and examination dates for the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA), Kenya Intermediate Level Education Assessment (KILEA), Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA), Kenya Prevocational Level Education Assessment (KPLEA) and Kenya Certificate of Secondary School Education (KCSE).
The calendar from the office of the Principal Secretary of Basic Education indicates that schools will reopen for Term 1 on January 6, 2025.
The schools will then close on April 4 after 13 weeks of learning.
In between, there will be a five-day half-term running from February 26 to March 2.
