Beatrice Elachi, MP Dagoretti North is leading in the top five most vocal female speakers in Parliament.

According to a report by Mzalendo, Elachi rose to inquire from the Education Cabinet Secretary about EduAfya after noting that school children lack medical cover.

She inquired about the progress on the implementation of CBC, and whether public schools have valid titles to the land they are situated.

She was followed by Zamzam Chimba Mohammed, Mombasa Woman Representative, Catherine Omanyo Nakhabi, Busia Woman Representative,  Dorothy Ikiara, a Nominated MP and  Jane Njeri Maina, Kirinyaga Woman Representative.

Mzalendo is a Kenyan non-partisan Parliamentary Monitoring Organisation (PMO) that promotes open, inclusive and accountable Parliaments across Kenya and Africa.

The performance was exclusively determined by the number of times individual MPs speak in Parliament (speech counts) and as captured in the Parliamentary Hansard, the official Parliamentary record.
