Airline revenues are forecast to recover strongly, reaching $1.007 trillion in 2025, according to the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

Passenger revenue, the largest contributor, is projected to grow steadily post-pandemic, rising from $513 billion in 2021 to $964 billion in 2024 before crossing the $1 trillion mark.

Cargo revenue also remains significant, reflecting global demand for freight services. The year 2023 saw revenue hitting $909 billion, highlighting a sharp recovery compared to the pandemic lows of $384 billion in 2020.
