A passenger plane crashed with 67 people on board in Kazakhstan on Christmas eve, local authorities said
Preliminary reports suggest there are 25 survivors, 22 of whom have been taken to hospital, Kazakhstan's emergency ministry said.
This was the most recent airline crash. In January, a Japanese airline plane collided with another while landing in Tokyo.
In August, a Voepass Airline plane crashed near a residential area in Sao Paulo, Brazil,, killing all the 67 passengers on board.
