Some two million good Hustler Fund borrowers to graduate to banks, the government has said.
The government has revealed plans to assist the good borrowers in accessing loans from commercial banks in its push to integrate the 'hustlers' into the formal financial system.
Principal Secretary State Department Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Susan Mang'eni said the good borrowers have attained the higher credit score compared to other beneficiaries in the Hustler Fund.
This even as the fund registered 23.29 million members and group savings account hitting 8.98 million with more than Sh52 billion disbursed so far.
More than 53,000 groups have also been successfully registered.
