Nigeria (10.7 per cent), Somalia (10.6 per cent), and Chad (10.3 per cent) also rank among the worst-affected nations.Child mortality is a critical indicator of a country’s healthcare system, nutrition, and overall well-being of children. South Sudan, Central African Republic, Guinea, Mali, and Benin also face similar challenges.
