When you come across a fallen Kenya Power pole or power line, the first and most important step is to keep a safe distance.

Live electrical wires can cause severe injuries or even death.

It is recommended to stay at least 10 metres away from the fallen pole or cable.

You are advised not to attempt to touch or move it, even if it looks harmless or inactive.

Similarly, you are advised to avoid touching nearby metal objects, water puddles, or fences that might be in contact with the fallen wires, as they may be electrified.
