Parents have been encouraged to take proactive steps to manage stress, with experts warning that the demands of raising children can trigger a rollercoaster of emotions.

According to guidance shared by UNICEF Parenting, recognising the signs of stress is the first step towards maintaining emotional well-being. Parents are also advised to practise deep breathing, take short breaks when overwhelmed and make time for self-care.

Other recommended strategies include staying physically active, pausing before reacting in anger, breaking challenges into smaller tasks and seeking support when needed. Professional help should also be sought when stress becomes difficult to manage
