There has been a steady growth of international visitor arrivals at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and Moi International Airport over a five-year period.

Data by the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics shows a significant upward trajectory in tourism and international travel following global disruptions.

In 2021, the combined arrivals stood at 692,900 visitors.

This figure experienced a substantial surge the following year, reaching 1,198,700 in 2022.

The positive trend maintained momentum into 2023 with 1,642,900 arrivals, and further climbed to 1,842,100 in 2024.

By 2025, the total number of international visitors peaked at 1,955,000.

This consistent year-over-year increase demonstrates a robust recovery and expansion for Kenya's primary aviation gateways, signalling strong international interest and sustained economic revival within the nation's travel sector.
