
Kenyan courts are set to hear several major corruption and asset recovery matters scheduled between July 27 and July 31, 2026, according to the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
Leading the cause list is an Sh800 million recovery suit involving Estama Investments Ltd and 13 others, alongside an alleged Sh351.1 million corruption case involving former Murang'a Governor Francis Mwangi wa Iria.
Also appearing for hearings are Balambala MCA Abdi Ibrahim Daar and four others over an alleged Sh51 million fraud case, Bob Kephas Otieno and five others in an Sh27.8 million County Assembly recovery suit, and Arnold Karani Njiru with five others facing an alleged Sh19.2 million ghost project case.
Furthermore, the schedule includes public and private land recovery suits involving Meshack Aluvaala (Sh40 million), Szumbah Mwanaongoro (Sh40 million), Midlands Ltd, and Margaret Njoki Njuguna, as well as a law funds recovery suit against Gondi Achiro Noberts t/a Firmline Company and others.
