Suba North member of parliament Millie Odhiambo has clinched the Suba North MP seat.
She will now serve for the third time as Suba North MP.
She garnered 27,130 votes against her closest competitor James Akali of the Federal party who got 18,151 votes.
Her political career came to the limelight when she was nominated to parliament by the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party in 2008.
She was elected as Suba North MP in 2013.
She is a lawyer and children's rights activist.
Odhiambo has been very outspoken in the Kenyan parliament.
Kenyans took to the ballot to elect a new government on Tuesday, August 9.
Tallying and vote counting is currently underway in most constituencies as the country awaits the final IEBC declaration of winners in different political positions.
