An eight-storey building has collapsed in Kwa-Ndege, Tassia, Embakasi.
The rescue team from Red Cross is currently on the site to salvage the situation.
The Star has learnt that the ground floor and first floor of the building were heavily affected.
"When the building started collapsing, people moved away," a witness told the media.
No casualties have been reported so far.
The building hosted businesses on the ground floor.
In September, two people were killed and seven rescued after a six-storey house under construction collapsed in the Kirigiti area, Kiambu County.
The house collapsed on a residential house below it trapping some of those who were there.
In August, another four-storey building collapsed at Infinity Area in Mwiki Estate, Kasarani.
This is the third building to collapse in three months.
