For the better part of Monday, the term Vasectomy formed part of a major discussion on social media, especially Twitter where it was among the top trends.
Vasectomy is a surgical procedure to cut or seal the tubes that carry a man’s sperm to permanently prevent pregnancy.
It became one of the top trends after one of the KOT members revealed that he had booked an appointment for the procedure.
MohKay sent out the tweet on Sunday, November 13, informing his followers about the decision, adding that a lot has happened since he booked the appointment.
"I have a vasectomy appointment kesho a lot has happened since I booked I honestly don’t know if I should or wait till I fix myself up," he tweeted.

Any SANE man wouldn't think about VASECTOMY! Why do you want to CASTRATED yourself? If you don't want Kids, use other preventive measures like CONDOMS. Women are MANIPULATIVE, she will lie to you to undergo vasectomy, then will abandon you for someone who's able to sire KIDS.

Vasectomy is good for you. You retain the life force of billions of souls contained in your sperm, which is reabsorbed into your body and makes you transcend to a higher spiritual plane.

In September, data from Ministry of Health showed that at least 500 men had underwent in the last one year.
The ministry has acknowledged that despite the few numbers, men remain key decision makers in the community in the family set up and therefore their role in family planning remains very critical.
Kenyan DJ Moz has also come out to declare that he had undergone the procedure.
"I'm married and I have been for 13 years. The reality is that the burden of family planning had always been on my wife. My wife had been on the pill for the longest time and it was also not good for her and I knew it was affecting her," he said.
Former Radio Presenter and Actor Nick Ndeda has also had a vasectomy, however, he is not yet married.
