Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Tuesday promised to donate Sh300,000 to Komarock Primary school.
Speaking while monitoring the ongoing KCPE and KPSEA exams, Gachagua told the candidates the amount will cater for their party after completion of their exams.
The DP asked the candidates if he could arrange a party for them, and they all agreed.
"Mnamaliza mtihani kesho? Alafu muende nyumbani? Si nipange bash kidogo the following day?"
This is loosely translated to: "You will be finishing your exams tomorrow, then you go home, allow me to throw a party for you."
He promised to give the headteacher Sh300,000 for the party.
"I will leave Sh100,000 for the teachers for them to also celebrate," he said.
More than 3 million students are currently sitting the national exams.
Grade 6 has more than 1.6 million registered candidates for Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) exam.
On November 25, learners were taken through rehearsal as teachers checked compliance with exam regulations.
