Governors met on Thursday to discuss the declaration of a boundary dispute between Makueni, Kwale & Taita Taveta counties.
The governors resolved to use the traditional method of dispute resolution to handle the boundary dispute.
"The Ad-hoc Committee to adopt the Traditional Dispute Resolution mechanism to resolve the dispute," the Council of Governors said.

The CoG said that all relevant parties will be included in the resolution process.
Adding that the resolution of the parties will be escalated to the Summit for determination.
