Chief Justice Martha Koome on Tuesday held a meeting with Group Chief Executive Officer of KCB bank Paul Russo.
The meeting was held to discuss support for the delivery of the Social Transformation through Access to Justice (STAJ) vision, by having a Judiciary that is 100 per cent paperless.
The CJ noted that the two institutions have worked closely in implementing the Judiciary’s e-filling system.
Koome added that the Judiciary intends to roll out the e-filing system to the rest of the country starting with Mombasa this month, followed by Kisumu during the financial year.
"We will partner in the establishment of Judiciary e-filing desks in all the Huduma Centres countrywide to cater for pro se litigants who lack access to computers and the ICT knowledge therein," Koome said.
The Chief Justice said the Judiciary and KCB will seek collaboration with other justice sector players or agencies in the application of instant fines through the provision of ICT solutions as part of Corporate Social Responsibility.
