Kenya Defence Forces have flagged reports of recruitment as fake.
Through their official Twitter account, KDF said the agency is not conducting a recruitment exercise at the moment.
"Always verify information on employment advertisements on the Ministry of Defence's website, our social media platforms or in the local dailies," the tweet read.
The fake advert was circulating on social media with expounded details of the process of the recruitment.
It had the qualifications needed, the level of vacancies, counties where recruitment will take place and dates of the recruitment.

In a four-page advertisement, the alleged job recruitment was seeking to employ a General service officer and specialist officer.
Other slots were; general duty recruits tradesmen and women and defence forces, constables.
This is not the first time KDF is flagging fake job advertisements.
In April 2022, an imposter was charged with conning a man Sh470,000 with the promise of securing a job in the military for her daughter.
Mark Njihia was accused of obtaining the money from Francis Kimani by false pretences on diverse dates between November 11 and 19 last year.
Njihia was charged with using an identity card belonging to another person and he is accused of using the person’s ID card to register a SIM card for a mobile phone with Safaricom Limited without the owner’s permission.
He was accused of having used the number to allegedly defraud other members of the public.
