Former IEBC chairperson Issack Hassan has released a new book on the Kenyan elections titled Referee of a Dirty Ugly Game.
The book is Hassan's insider account of the theatre of Kenya's elections.
Hassan served as the Commission's chair from November 9, 2011, to October 6, 2016.
He oversaw the 2013 general elections that saw to the election of former President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Prior to that, Hassan also served as the chairperson of the Interim Independence Electoral Commission (IIEC) from May 2009 to November 2011.
He left the electoral agency after a Parliamentary Select Committee on electoral reforms decided that a new team be put in place to man the 2017 polls.
