On Sunday, the Deputy President started the week with several events in his Nyeri backyard before flying back to Nairobi.
He started the day with a service at Kahira-Ini Catholic Church in the Archdiocese of Nyeri for Sunday service and celebration of the Holy Mass.
The DP then joined the family of Lucy Gathigia Miano in Giakaibei village, Mathira, to condole with them on the loss of their daughter Jane Wambui Gathigia.
On the same day, Gachagua also visited Kanjuri village, Mathira, to condole with the parents and neighbors of Rev. Fr. Richard Kabuthi Kinyua.
On Monday, Gachagua had a busy day holding bilateral talks with Colombia Vice President Francia Marquez at the official residence of the Deputy President in Karen.
The DP also hosted Marquez for a Kenya-Colombia business forum talk at Serena Hotel on the same day.
On Tuesday, Gachagua was at State House where Marquez held bilateral talks with President William Ruto.
The country's second in command was in Mombasa on Wednesday where he joined the European Union in launching fishing boats for various Beach Management Units, in Nyali.
''The Kenya Kwanza Administration remains focused on maximum exploitation of the resources in the Blue Economy for sustainable lives and livelihoods,'' Gachagua said.
The meeting was also attended by all the coast governors under the Jumuia ya Pwani caucus.
On Thursday, Gachagua attended bilateral talks between Kenya and Singapore at State House Nairobi.
President William Ruto hosted Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
On the same day, Gachagua attended a meeting of the United Democratic Alliance party chairpersons from the 47 counties.
During the meeting at Weston Hotel, Gachagua claimed that UDA was growing into a big machine that would rule Kenya for 100 years.
He also said that going forward, the party will operationalise all the branch offices across the country which will be 'run like government' offices.
Gachagua used the occasion to welcome new members into the party including former governor of Migori county Okoth Obado.
On Friday the DP presided over the official handover of a bus to St Benedict Wamutitu Secondary School in Mukurweini, Nyeri County.
The vehicle for the school with an enrolment of 490 students, was funded by Mukurweini NG-CDF, whose patron is area MP John Kaguchia.
"Because of the government's 100 per cent transition policy from primary to secondary, the enrollment in the school continues to grow,'' he said.
The DP on Friday did not attend the funeral service of Dagoretti South MP John Kiarie's father David Waweru in Kandara, Murang’a County.
