President William Ruto is set to participate in an interdenominational prayer service in Kajiado on Sunday.

The event will be held at Ildamat Stadium in Kajiado Central and will see the attendance of key government officials and leaders.

Kajiado Women Representative Leah Sankaire confirmed the president's visit to the County through her social media pages.

“Karibu Kajiado County on 25th June 23, 2023, at Ildamat Stadium,” her poster read.

In addition to attending the prayer service, President Ruto is expected to inspect numerous projects in the area, further demonstrating his commitment to uplifting local communities.

Gatanga MP Edward Muriu expressed that the president has organized a series of meetings nationwide to inaugurate various projects, ensuring that the promises made during the Kenya Kwanza campaign are fulfilled.

Muriu emphasized the determination of the president and his deputy to tour every part of the country to launch projects and oversee the implementation of the Kenya Kwanza manifestos.

“The president and his deputy will traverse every part of the Country launching projects and ensure that Kenya kwanza manifestos are well implemented,” Muriu said.

A reliable source revealed that Kajiado Governor Joseph Ole Lenku and a delegation of Azimio leaders from the county will be in attendance.

Earlier this year, President Ruto launched the construction of a 65-kilometre road in Kajiado County, connecting vital areas such as Ongata Rongai, Gataka, Embulbul, and Cooperative College Karen.

During the launch, the president acknowledged the potential for Rongai to become a city and highlighted the need for infrastructure development to accommodate its growing population and alleviate traffic congestion.

President Ruto is currently in Paris attending the Global Pact Finance Summit, whose aim is to reimagine the global finance system and foster the creation of a more inclusive financial architecture.
