Kiambu Woman Representative Ann Wamuratha now wants women affected by the alleged indecent act by a Limuru-based company compensated.

Reacting to the incident that has since caused mixed reactions from the public, Wamuratha further called on all women leaders in Parliament to come out and fight for the justice of the women affected.

“As the Kiambu Woman Rep, I condemn it in the strongest terms possible. Firm action should be taken against the company to act as a lesson to everyone and if possible they should compensate the women for despising them,” she said.

“You can’t do that to a fellow human being; that you lock them in a room to confirm if they are on their period to establish if they are the ones who disposed off the sanitary towel,” she added.
