Raila Odinga has been relevant over the years because he has always identified people's problems, Linda Ugatuzi leader Fred Ogola said on Wednesday.

Speaking in an interview with K24 TV, Ogola said that if the Kenya Kwanza government continues to fail to honor its campaign pledges Raila will become more relevant.

"Raila Odinga has been prominent because he identifies people's problems. If they continue to mis-perform in terms of their promises to Kenyans, they are making Raila more relevant," Ogola said.

Ogola further states that what made the opposition party lead people into demonstrations was the government's failure to listen to the people on the passage of the Finance Bill, 2023 into law.

"By passing the Finance law, the Kenya Kwanza government ignored Kenyans' desire to lower the cost of living which was part of the issues raised during the bipartisan talks," Ogola said.

Last week Azimio la Umoja coalition announced three days of demonstrations that will start Wednesday.
