Several governors and their deputies took part in 5 kilometers fun race in Eldoret town ahead of the Devolution Conference.
The race which also included county workers and some elite athletes started at the Uasin Gishu County headquarters and went around the town before ending at the Kipchoge Keino stadium.
However, only Trans Nzoia governor George Natembeya managed to complete the race as others dropped out.

" We are a city of champions and happy to host all governors in our town. We congratulate those who have joined us in the fun race," Bii said.
The governors and other runners were clad in T-shirts for the 10th devolution conference which is being held at the Eldoret Sports Club
Natembeya said he has happy to have finished the race and attributed it to keeping fit always.
At the stadium Sports CS Ababu Namwamba joined the governors in other ongoing sports events ahead of the conference.
Namwamba said the sports event was aimed at bringing together the county chiefs and workers to socialise ahead of the Devolution Conference.
Other governors present included Ken Lusaka of Bungoma and Andrew Mwadime of Taita Taveta.
President William Ruto is expected to open the conference tomorrow with more than 10,000 participants in attendance.
Senators were also expected to play a football match again the governors at the stadium.
