Delegates and leaders attending the Devolution Conference planted trees at the Eldoret Arboretum in Uasin Gishu.

The tree planting exercise was organised by the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Forestry as part of the 15 billion national tree growing and ecosystem restoration programme.

The leaders and delegates were attending the Conference which will reflect on Kenya's 10 years of devolved system of government.

It will also explore opportunities for strengthening systems to enhance transformational service delivery in counties.

President William Ruto is presiding over the official opening of the Conference whose theme is, "10 Years of Devolution: The Present & the Future."
