Kisii Governor Simba Arati has urged President William Ruto to remain focused on delivering his promises to Kenyans and not be distracted by the noise coming from the Azimio Coalition.

The Azimio governor said if Ruto loses focus due to the noise, he will be blamed if his regime fails to deliver on its mandate.

Arati spoke on Sunday during an interdenominational church service in Kisii County in which Ruto was in attendance.

"Your Excellency you are the President. We are making noise to distract you, if you get distracted we'll blame your regime. It is up to you to see which mechanism you will put in place to bring us together as members of ODM and UDA," Arati said.

In his opinion, UDA and ODM can work together to move the country forward.

Arati said politicians should have some decorum when having discussions. He said simply because politicians are from different parties does not mean they should argue.

"It is not about quarrelling, it is about complementing each other as we run the business of managing this country.

Additionally, Arati declared that he is ready to work with the national government for the benefit of his people.

He said he will work with the national government as the constitution dictates that devolved units must collaborate with the national government.

Further, Arati urged fellow leaders to have patience as they work to bring development in their areas.
