Kiambu Governor Kimani Wamatangi has fired back at MCAs threatening an impeachment motion against him.

Wamatangi called on those willing to work with him to better the lives of the people of Kiambu to join his course.

His sentiments comes after a group of Members of County Assembly accused him of undermining them in their wards.

“We have seen Governor Wamatangi working as a one-man show government,” the MCAs said.

However, Wamatangi responded via his social media handle saying those still having political hangovers will find them far ahead with their plans to transform Kiambu County.

“Time waits for no one, is that not the case?"  Wamatangi posed the question as he insisted that he would waste no time on people distracting his agenda for the county.

According to Karuri MCA Peter Wainaina, the governor has been sabotaging elected MCAs by working with members of his Wamatangi Foundation as his foot soldiers.

Njoroge alleged that Wamatangi has gone ahead to ‘plant’ their competitors in their respective wards whom he is using in overseeing some of the projects.
