Former Knut secretary general Wilson Sossion has been thrown into mourning.
Sossion who is also a former Nominated Member of Parliament representing workers' interests in Kenya's National Assembly revealed news of his mother's passing through his X handle on Sunday.
Though he did not reveal the details, Sossion said she passed on after collapsing and was rushed to hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
“It is with deep shock and sorrow that we announce the passing on to glory of our beloved mother Ruth Chepng’eno Sossion. She collapsed at home and was pronounced dead on arrival at Tenwek Hospital. May she Rest In Eternal Peace,” Sossion wrote.
Sossion had been nominated by Chief Administrative Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and National Heritage by President William Ruto but the position was nullified by the court.
