Azimio la Umoja leaders on Wednesday held a meeting with the new British High Commissioner Neil Wigan.
The Opposition leaders were led by former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
He was accompanied by Democratic Action Party of Kenya (DAP-K) leader Eugene Wamalwa and National Assembly Minority Leader Opiyo Wandayi.
According to ODM, Wigan and the Azimio leadership reflected on and lauded the long historical ties between Kenya and the United Kingdom.
Wigan praised Kenyans for the long and difficult struggle for democracy and a new constitution with Devolution.
He also appreciated the spirit of the ongoing bipartisan talks.
The leaders agreed to renew and strengthen the ties for democracy, stability, trade and investment.
Neil Wigan was appointed as the new United Kingdom ambassador to Kenya in April. He officially took charge in July.
He replaced Jane Marriott who was moved to Pakistan after having served as British High Commissioner for four years.
Wigan previously served as British High Commissioner to Israel.
