According to her father, David Kipkoech, who called the Star on Wednesday, Nyamasia closed her beauty shop in the Pipeline area late on October 1 but never went to her house in the same area.

“All her telephones went dead after failing to turn up at home. We have recorded her missing report at Villa Police Station in Pipeline,” said a worried Kipkoech.

Kipkoech said her daughter has been living alone in the area while the rest of the family lives elsewhere in Nairobi.

The family hails from Lamaiwee-Mochongoi in Baringo Country, and all her relatives, including her boyfriend, have been contacted over her disappearance.

Kipkoech said her daughter has a boyfriend in Nairobi but, that they were not living together.

“Nyamasia lives alone, and her boyfriend lives in his house in a different part of the city. We contacted him, but he said he had no idea that she had gone missing,” said her father.

He said that after reporting the matter to the police, the Villa OCS has not returned any tangible report about her disappearance.

“The OCS told me he assigned the investigation to one of his officers but no report has been received by the family about her whereabouts,” he said.

Kipkoech further said he last talked to her daughter on September 21, 2023, and she was fine. Her telephone contacts are; 0785132721 and 0798921888.

The Star called the two of her telephone lines but were switched off.
