Koffi Olomide has landed in the country for the peace concert organised by Radio Africa Events.
Speaking at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) Koffi on Wednesday, the rhumba/soukous maestro said he is grateful for an opportunity to come back to Kenya and showcase his talent.
"I am more than excited, and I can't wait to be on stage and perform for the people of Kenya. I am very very happy to be here," he said.
"I want to say thank you to the government and the people of Kenya as a whole, and feels good to be back and happy that they understand me."
Koffi added that his fans should expect an electric show and he is ready to entertain the people he loves from the country.
"This is also my country, part of my life is also in Kenya, I would like to tell my fans to advocate for peace and love," he said.
Koffi will be performing alongside other artists on December 9, 2023, at the ASK Dome, Showground.
