TransNzoia Senator Allan Chesang shutting the Rolls Royce door in Abu Dhabi

As he thought he was being courteous and seeing a friend off by 'closing' the door for them, Trans Nzoia Senator Allan Chesang has become a tease target.

In an undated video, Chesang, dressed in a khaki pant and a grey shirt, greeted his friend biding him goodbye and steadily closing the door of the Rolls Royce his friend was in.

However, the friend, politely, pressed a button to reopen it and it automatically shut.

With this, the senator and the friend both laughed and greeted each other again, signalling the 'I'll call you' to each other before the Rolls Royce left.

This did not go well with Public Service Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria who seemingly took the video, revealing that the two were in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

To keep the holiday spice with banters, as they are good friends, Kuria took to his X account to 'call out' Chesang for the mishap.

"Be careful whom you take with you Majuu," part of the X post read.

"My brother Sen Allan Chesang tried some manual stuff on my Abu Dhabi friend's Rolls Royce Spectre forgetting this is not Endebess."

The youthful senator, however, took no issue with Kuria's teasing as hours later he also shared the video on his X account accompanied with laughter emojis.

Kuria's post exposed Chesang to more online banters, as X users cautioned Kuria from exporting 'ushamba' in the future.

"Anyway there a first time and first encounter with things for everyone," Amwoga Khalwale said.

Another user said: "Good thing you gave him a chance to learn. That's mentorship."

"Ndugu yetu hajazoea hizi."
