The high court in Kibera has directed the detectives to return a Toyota vehicle, phones, house and two laptops to the family of slain Nairobi Hospital Finance Director Eric Maigo.

This is even as the court pushed the hearing to February 21.

The ruling to return the deceased properties was issued after the family lawyer told the court that the said items were not part of the exhibit and that his family needed them.

“By consent the items of the deceased which are mentioned above and are not part of the exhibit so they should be released to the family,”  Justice Kavedza Mochache ruled.

At the same court, it was revealed that the prosecution had filed an affidavit to deny the accused person's bond which the court directed the defence to file a response.

This comes after the accused person Ann Adhiambo Ouma alias 'Nut' made a U-turn last year before the same court and pleaded not guilty to the murder charges.

She was charged earlier with killing the former Nairobi Hospital finance director
