Computer heist at Machakos Hospital raises suspicions of inside job

Detectives are currently investigating a burglary incident at Machakos Level Five Hospital where thieves stole computers.

The incident occurred on Thursday night when the culprits used master keys to access the hospital’s chest clinic and nurses' room four.

"The thieves targeted the chest clinic, making away with three desktop computers, and also took one desktop computer from the nurses' room," police who visited the scene said.

Preliminary findings suggest that the thieves broke the padlock latch and opened the lock using a master key.

As of now, no recovery or arrests have been made, and police suspect that the thieves were after crucial information stored on the stolen machines.
