Kenyans were quick to air their reactions after former Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho shared photos of him at Harvard Kennedy School on Instagram.

In one of the photos, Joho is seen standing by a desk in a room that looked like a classroom with a tag around his neck.

The desk had a board with the writings 'Harvard Kennedy School John F. Kennedy School of Government.'

In another photo, Joho is seen holding a coffee mug and standing by a wall that bore the writings, 'ASK WHAT YOU CAN DO.'

He also shared another image of him in a group photo with other people but did not caption it.

One person, TL Elder, said sarcastically; "Former Mombasa County governor Ali Hassan Joho has joined a US University. I'm also beginning my Software Engineering course at Moringa School on 26th February. Coast men we are taking education (and our beards) seriously in 2024."

Kenya West said; "Joho goes back to school, has joined Harvard Kennedy School. This is such a good way to spend your retirement as you plot for other ventures. All the best."

Nyanje wa Nyanje on the other hand tweeted,"Interesting that Joho has joined Harvard Kennedy School. At least politicians are learning of life after politics."
