The Ministry of Health has invited health unions to submit their views on the Social Health Insurance Regulations.
The doctors, nurses, clinical officers, lab technologists and other unions in the health sector will be required to nominate three people who will submit their views on the regulations.
The government plans to launch the new Social Health Insurance Fund in March of this year.
Health Cabinet Secretary Susan Nakhumicha has said her ministry was only awaiting approval for the Act's regulations, after which a due process would be followed to ensure that registration of individuals begins in March, followed by contributions in the same month.

Judges have been enjoying taxable car allowances until 2021 when it was scrapped by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission.
SRC said judges are already enjoying comfortable lifestyles by being entitled to official transport which is chauffeur-driven as part of their benefits package and the car grant would amount to double compensation from taxpayers' money.
