The Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka is expected to address residents of Naivasha today on several issues including the high cost of living.

Through a press release dated February 18, the Wiper Democratic Movement highlighted that Kalonzo will deliver a keynote address as the chief guest for the Institute of Certified Secretaries.

The Azimio principal is expected to engage with crowds at Soko Mjinga market later today before he proceeds to Lake Naivasha Resort for the main event slated for Tuesday.

The market is located along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway on the way to Naivasha.

Among the issues to be addressed in Kalonzo's speech are the high cost of living and the housing levy.

"Dr Musyoka is expected to address residents' concerns including the high cost of living and the 'slush fund' that is the housing levy among other concerns," the press release reads.

The housing levy has been a contentious issue between the government and Kenyans, with the High Court barring its implementation and the Court of Appeal affirming the High Court's decision last month.

Kalonzo has been invited to inaugurate the County Governments Convention as the chief guest.
