Morgan Heritage is a two-time Grammy-award-winning reggae band founded in 1994.
The band, which was originally formed in Brooklyn, New York, returned to their home country of Jamaica following initial success with the release of its debut album named "Miracle".
It was formed by the five Morgan siblings, sons of reggae musician Denroy Morgan, hence the name Morgan Heritage.
The five members of Morgan Heritage are;

- Una Morgan who does vocals and keyboard
- Roy “Gramps” Morgan who does vocals and keyboard
- Nakhamyah “Lukes” Morgan who does rhythm guitar
- Memmalatel “Mr Mojo” Morgan who does vocals and percussion
Peter Morgan, who passed on yesterday aged 46, was the lead singer of the Jamaica-based band.

She has often been nicknamed the 'first lady' of Morgan Heritage.
Una Morgan and Nakhamyah “Lukes” Morgan have, however, been inactive in the band for a while.
Each of the members of Morgan Heritage has undertaken separate endeavours in addition to performing with the rest of the group.
Roy "Gramps" Morgan, who is also the CEO of Dada Son Entertainment, released his debut album dubbed 'Two Sides of My Heart' as a solo act.
Since its inception, the band has made several tours and published multiple reggae albums.
In 2019, they toured Kenya and performed alongside local and African artists like Naiboi, Wyre, Yemi Alade and Diamond Platnumz in an event dubbed Tomorrow Leaders Festival.
Among the band's biggest achievements is their win at the Grammy Awards in 2016 where their album 'Strictly Roots' scooped the category of Best Reggae Album.
