Kenya Airways has announced that it will relaunch its flight services to and from Eldoret starting March 25.
The national carrier in a press release dated March 20, said services to Eldoret will resume five days a week with flights operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
The airline's CEO, Allan Kilavuka emphasized the strategic importance of restoring flights, citing its dedication to boosting regional connectivity and facilitating access to global markets.
"Our renewed focus on the domestic market reaffirms Kenya Airways' pivotal role in advancing Africa's economic prosperity,” he said.
“By connecting Eldoret to our extensive network, we aim to stimulate growth and foster lasting socio-economic development in the region," Kilavuka remarked.”
Kilavuka said the relaunch of flights to Eldoret marks a significant milestone in Kenya Airways' post-COVID-19 recovery journey as it is committed to providing reliable and efficient air travel services.
The airline continues to play a crucial role in supporting the nation's economic growth and promoting regional integration.

Kilavuka further said that competitive airfares will be offered for flights to and from Eldoret to ensure affordability and accessibility for travellers.
Most airlines suspended flights during the Covid-19 pandemic both locally and internationally.
