Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua will today launch the Recognition of Prior Learning Policy.

The launch is set to take place at Kenyatta International Convention Centre from noon.

Recognition of prior learning policy is the process used to identify, assess and certify a candidate's knowledge, skills and competencies acquired in non-formal or informal learning, such as work or life experiences, against prescribed standards or learning outcomes.

KNCHR to launch final report on Shakahola

The Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR) will launch the final report on the Shakahola Tragedy on Friday.

The report is dubbed "Mashaka ya Shakahola"

It will be launched at the KNCHR head office, CVS Plaza first floor at 9 am.

LSK to hold Annual General Meeting

The Law Society Of Kenya (LSK) will today hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM).

During the meeting, newly elected LSK officials are set to take office officially.

The meeting will be held in Nakuru.

Doctors to hold peaceful procession 

Doctors will hold a peaceful procession over the implementation of their Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA).

Before the procession, they will all assemble at the meeting point at the Kenyatta National Hospital.

After that, they will then proceed to parliament and the National Treasury.

Kalonzo to meet Kisii leaders

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka will on Friday be in Kisii County for a meeting with leaders from the region at 10 am.

The former Vice President embarked on a three-day campaign in Nyanza, a traditional support base of the ODM leader.

He was in Migori on Wednesday, where he presided over the opening of the Wiper Democratic Movement office in Kehancha.

He later addressed a rally in Migori town.
