UDA grassroots elections
United Democratic Alliance (UDA) elections board will hold a meeting with Nairobi County leadership and aspirants at the hustler centre.
The meeting shall be chaired by the chairperson of the UDA Elections Board Anthony Mwaura.
Groups will meet at different times of the day starting with Langata, Kibra, Dagoretti North and Dagoretti South between 9 am to 10 am.
This group will be followed by the second cluster of constituencies comprising Kamkunji, Starehe, Westlands and Makadara between 10 am and 11 am Kasarani, Roysambu, Ruaraka and Mathare will follow next for the leaders' meeting between 11 am and 12 pm.
Thereafter, the elections board will meet leaders from Embakasi North, Embakasi South, Embakasi Central, Embakasi East and Embakasi West between 12 pm and 1 pm.
National Assembly Committee meeting.
The National Assembly Education Committee will be meeting on Thursday at the Senate New Wing, main Parliament Buildings starting at 10.00 am.
The lawmakers will meet Principal Secretary Immigration and Citizen Services Julius Bitok on the payment of school fees through the e-citizen platform.
Ex-governor Obado graft case hearing proceeds
The hearing of the corruption case against former Migori Governor Okoth Obado, his children and proxies is set to continue.
The case which is being heard by Senior Principal Magistrate Victor Wakhumile, has entered its second day of trial this week.
Obado and his co-accused were charged with conspiracy to defraud the county government and abuse of office among other counts.

Kenya, United States partner on education.
Kenya and United States governments are working on a framework to strengthen Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education in the country.
The framework will entail developing a curriculum on STEM-related disciplines, strengthening partnerships with institutions in STEM, and curriculum development in Technical, Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
Doctor's strike.
The doctors' strike which started on March 14 will today enter its 29th day, almost hitting a month.
They have since been joined by clinical officers, and lab techs with other unions also issuing their strike notices.
The health workers maintained that they will not go back to work until all their grievances were met by the government.
