Brigadier Swaleh Said, one of the military officers, who died in a chopper crash on Thursday in Elgeyo Marakwet, will be buried today in his home in Kikamba, Kilifi.
Brigadier Said was among the 10 senior milliary officers, among the Chief of Defence Forces General Francis Ogolla, who lost their lives in the crash.
Swaleh's body arrived at their family home in Utange on Friday.
He will later today be taken to his home in Kikambala where he will be buried in accordance to Islam.
President William Ruto made an official announcement of the deaths on Thursday evening.
Ruto also announced that the country will observe three days of mourning in honour of the fallen KDF personnel.
