Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and Azimio leader Raila Odinga will address a joint press briefing.

The briefing scheduled for 9.30 am will take place at the office of the Prime CS, Kenya Railways Headquarters.

Mudavadi is expected to apprise the country of Raila’s candidacy for the African Union Commission chairperson.

Raila, who has declared interest in the AU’s topmost job ahead of the heads of State elections slated for February 2025, is Kenya’s candidate for the post.

President William Ruto has declared his support for Raila’s AUC bid and has been lobbying African heads of State to back Odinga to succeed Moussa Faki.

Opening of the KUCCPS portal

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) will open its portal today for inter-institutional transfer applications.

Deadline is July 4.

Joint Command and Staff College graduation ceremony

The Kenya Defence Forces will on Wednesday have the Joint Command and Staff College graduation ceremony.

The ceremony to be held at the college grounds in Karen, Nairobi will take place from 9 am to 1 pm.

The ceremony will be presided over by Defence Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale.

National Council for Population and Development.

The National Council for Population and Development will on Wednesday hold a media round table from 7 am to 10 am.

The event will take place at the Tamarind Tree Hotel.

The objective of the media engagement meeting is to sensitize them on the Sessional Paper No. 1 on Kenya National Population Policy for Sustainable Development.

The meeting will also serve as the curtain raiser to the launch of the Population Policy on 6th June, 2024.
