Funeral plans of the late Reggae MC Njambi Koikai are well underway.
A series of events have been planned throughout the week in her honor, to provide support to her family and to give her a befitting send-off.
Through a poster posted on X, vigil meetings are scheduled to be held daily from Monday to Wednesday, June 12 at All Saints Cathedral in Nairobi.
The vigil meetings will take place from 5 pm to 8 pm every evening to allow family and friends to come together in a space of remembrance and comfort.
A memorial concert will be held on Wednesday at Quiver Lounge along Thika Road.
On Thursday, a memorial service will be held at Nairobi Chapel on Ngong Road.
The service will provide the clergy, family members, and friends with a moment of prayers and eulogies.
Njambi’s final farewell will be held on Friday at Langata Cemetery where she will be laid to rest.
"A budget of Sh5 million is needed to help the family clear to clear the medical bills and to facilitate burial arrangements," the poster reads.
