The Kenya Red Cross has provided first aid to protesters in Nairobi Central District.
In a tweet on X, Kenya Red Cross Nairobi Branch said it had so far provided first aid to eight injured individuals.
This, they said, was in response to the ongoing demonstrations in Nairobi's CBD.

The protests, which commenced earlier today, saw crowds gathering along major streets in Nairobi.
Tensions escalated as police deployed tear gas to disperse demonstrators.
The demonstrations were reportedly organized through social media platforms, calling on Kenyans to voice their concerns over the Finance Bill 2024.
The Jamia Mosque also opened its doors to medical personnel treating those injured during ongoing protests.
The protests were organised in various parts of the country including Eldoret, Nakuru, Nairobi and Kisumu among others.
