Hundreds of youth have taken to the streets in Nairobi to protest today against the Finance Bill 2024.

The protests began at 11:30 am along Kenyatta Avenue.

Police could be seen engaging protesters by lobbying teargas canisters in an effort to disperse them.

It was running battling as the protesters threw the teargas back at the officers.

There has been ongoing mobilisation through social media networks calling on Nairobi residents to turn out in large numbers.
