Comedian Eric Omondi has been arrested while protesting outside Parliament Buildings.
In a video seen by the Star, Omondi was in the company of a few other individuals donned in red clothes, while protesting.
The comedian and activist was on a horse marching with the others when police officers followed them.
"Power to the people," they were heard chanting.
The officers are then seen pulling Omondi from the back of a horse as they detain him.
On Thursday, Omondi had in a post on social media platform X called out legislators who had voted in favour of the contentious Finance Bill, 2024.
He said the MP had gone against the wishes of Kenyans.
"When the representatives of the people are unable to represent the people, the people shall represent themselves!
"It will not be a walk in the Park. If we lose they, must lose," he said.
The comedian was on June 4, also arrested outside Parliament Buildings.
Omondi was arrested after leading mama mbogas in a demonstration outside the building.
The group was protesting against the Finance Bill, 2024 along Parliament Road when the officers disbursed them.
Following his arrest, he was booked at Parliament police station.
Omondi, who has all along been known as a rib cracker is lately investing a lot of his time on activism.
