A heavy contingent of KDF officers was Thursday spotted inside Nyayo Stadium.
This came even as reports indicated that there were plans to stage another anti-Finance Bill protest in Nairobi.
Also seen was an armoured KDF vehicle.
The KDF officers were seen taking briefs from their seniors before deployment.
They were later spotted leaving the Stadium apparently to their specific areas of deployment.
The military is set to back up the police officers in taming violent protesters who had vowed to storm the State House, a protected area.
This comes after Defence Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale gazetted the deployment of law enforcement.
According to Duale, the deployment of KDF soldiers was in response to ongoing violent protests in various parts of the Republic of Kenya, which have resulted in the destruction and breaching of critical infrastructure.
