Kenyans are expected to return to the streets today to protest against the rejected Finance Bill, 2024.
The protests are led by a group of youth and activists including Boniface Mwangi.
Last week, Mwangi issued an order of activities to culminate on July 7 (saba saba) where they will hold a national vigil for all those who lost their lives.
Today, they are expected to visit IPOA offices to present their grievances on alleged police brutality and killings.
DJ Browskin case
The hearing of a case in which DJ Brownskin alias Michael Macharia Njiiri is charged with aiding the suicide of his wife in 2022 will proceed today.
The father of the deceased is expected to testify in the case.
Finance bill
The Court is set to give directions in a case in which Mt Kenya Jurists sought to have the implementation of the finance bill, 2024 stopped.
