Police seize meth worth Sh9.2 million at JKIA after tip-off

Detectives said the suspect was attempting to traffic 1.15kg of methamphetamine through the JKIA.

Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations on Monday seized 1.15kg of methamphetamine.

Police said the unknown suspect was trying to transport the drug through JKIA.

Police said the suspect had concealed the parcel by stuffing it in a bigger consignment which was discovered at a warehouse.

They said the parcel contained meth with a street estimate of Sh9.2 million. 

Police said the seizure of the Sh9.2 million meth followed a tip-off to Anti-Narcotics detectives based at JKIA on Monday.
