Police from Nyeri and Laikipia counties have arrested four more persons suspected to have broken into Chieni supermarkets in Nanyuki and Nyeri during protests and stole a variety of goods.
The supermarkets were also torched.
Detectives said they recovered some of the goods stolen when they arrested the suspects.
Among the recoveries include washing machines, refrigerators, water dispensers, bicycles, kitchenware, food items, and clothing among many others.

In another house still in Nanyuki next to Kengeles club, a 30-year-old man was found with 22 pairs of khaki trousers, nine T-shirts, 24 undergarments (boxers) and sandals, all stolen during the demonstrations.
On the outskirts of the town, a 35-year-old man was also arrested with a junior ride bike.
A 41-year-old man was found with six vacuum flasks, a shopping trolley, a fridge and several cups.
Police said several other suspects have so far been arrested and more recoveries made.
They said they would continue investigations to nab other identifiable persons captured igniting the fires and disappearing with stolen goods.
